Amics del Nepal has always been dedicated to providing its beneficiaries with opportunities for exploration and knowledge enrichment through various activities. To continue these efforts, a mini hike to Sundarijal was organised on 17th of February, for the beneficiaries of the Women Literacy classes. Thirteen women took part in this excursion, which offered them not only a chance to enjoy refreshments and fun, but also to learn a bit about Sundarijal’s history and its natural surroundings.
During the hike, the women enjoyed the stunning views of the surrounding hills, dense forests, and waterfalls. The hike fostered social interaction as the participants shared stories, laughter, and encouragement throughout the journey. We took breaks at designated resting spots to enjoy snacks, drinks, and hydration, ensuring that everyone remained energised and refreshed throughout the hike. The mini hike to Sundarijal was a success, providing the women with an enjoyable and memorable outdoor experience. By incorporating physical activity, social interaction, and connection with nature, the hike promoted physical and mental well-being while fostering a sense of community among women. Amics del Nepal will organise similar outings in the future to continue promoting health, recreation, and social engagement among our beneficiaries.
