Art Collaboration: architecture, gastronomy, and music

In the academic year 2021/22, we began collaboration between the students from the Taller Tinta i Vi in Sant Esteve de Sesrovires and the beneficiaries of the PBL6 project. On that occasion, Nepalese and Catalan children created artworks depicting buildings and temples, which were exhibited in Kathmandu and Sant Esteve. The Nepalese children loved learning to draw and paint with brushes for the first time.

In the past academic year 2022/23, the new beneficiaries of PBL6 also had the opportunity to start learning drawing and painting. Children from Kathmandu and Sant Esteve created paintings illustrating their favourite recipes. With all the artworks, a beautiful book has been edited, which is now in the library of the Amics del Nepal activity centre and in the homes of the young Catalan artists. Additionally, this year, the children had a video conference to get to know each other: the Nepalese children from the Amics del Nepal activity centre and the Catalan children from the town hall auditorium in Sant Esteve de Sesrovires.

In this academic year 2023/24, the theme of the artistic collaboration between the new beneficiaries of the PBL6 project and the Tinta i Vi painting workshop will be music. Surely, they will create some beautiful works and, above all, have a lot of fun!
