Paper Recycling workshop in Patan Children Home

On 28th July, a paper recycling workshop was done in Patan Children Home which was conducted among the students from grade 3 to grade 10. The session centred on paper recycling, with five SW11 youths taking the lead in highlighting its significance. Their presentation covered the environmental benefits, its step-by-step process, and positive impact, demonstrating impressive enthusiasm for sustainability.

The SW11 youths, with their hands-on teaching style, demonstrated the entire paper recycling process. From collecting waste paper to sorting, shredding, and eventually creating new usable paper, the participants at Patan Children’s Home were actively involved in every step. This practical approach not only educated the children about the process but also empowered them with the knowledge to make a positive environmental impact. The paper recycling learning was very well received by the kids at Patan Children’s Home, who showed real excitement and engagement the whole time.
