Children Program Experiential Learning (EL) Project Based Learning (PBL)

Sports with PBL & EL

A sports field visit was conducted on January 21 with our Project Based Learning (PBL) and Experiential Learning (EL) students to a place called Dunkmandu. It is a sports facility in Simaltar which is from Amics Activity Centre in Kathmandu. Students played football and basketball there. There were a total of 27 students along with our children program interns and staff. The main objective of this field visit was to give exposure to the students and also promote a healthy mind and body. The sports field visit was a refreshing and new experience for all the students as this was their first time going on an outdoor sports visit with their classmates.

Sports activities are a great way to practise collaboration, communication and caring. Amics del Nepal will keep taking our students to different sports centres, historical places, and art exhibitions as field visits in order to develop life skills and provide them with better education.
