Social Week11.B session has started with youth class XI on 7th November based on the theme “Solidarity.” The main objective of the session is to orient the students on solidarity and how to conduct school workshops. During the session, youth will prepare two different school workshops based on the theme “Solid Waste Management” and “Cyber Security” encompassing the theme of solidarity.
The youth will be actively involved in building the workshops. These workshops will be presented in different schools of Lalitpur and Kathmandu valley among the students of class VI to IX. Solid waste management workshop will be conducted with the students of class VI and VII whereas workshops on Cyber Security will be implemented with the students of class VIII and IX. The previous themes of the After SEE Course – Environment and Sustainability, and Social Week11.A – Civic Rights and Youth Awareness will work as the foundational themes for these workshops.
Youth will start visiting different schools from 22nd November onwards. The target is to complete six workshops in different schools of Lalitpur and Kathmandu valley among which four school workshops will be conducted by 1st December 2022. At the end, the students will present their learning experiences and findings during the final event of the Social Week11.B session.
