A Visit to an Exhibition

The first field visit of the academic year 2022/23 with students of Project Based Learning, and Experiential Learning was conducted on 28th May 2022. It was a short trip to a plastic exhibition which was organised by Plast Nepal Foundation at Bhrikuti Mandap. It was the third edition of Nepal’s biggest international plastics exhibition with 100+ stalls and exhibitors showing various uses of plastics with an essence of reuse, recover and recycle. The exhibition was mainly targeted to attract customers and advertise the various ways of creating and using plastics. Nevertheless, children had an exposure, and they were able to witness how plastics are produced and experienced a new place.

The visit was primarily intended for the senior students of EL. However, PBL students were also involved as it was not possible to conduct the activities planned for them due to rain. We were 36 in total (4 staff and 32 students) for the visit. After the visit, we all went to have Narayan Daiko Famous Mo:Mo and returned home. We will be conducting more visits throughout the year in order to expose the students to new learning environments.

This project is possible thanks to the support of all the members of Amics de Nepal and the collaborating partners:
