New Experiential Learning Batch 2022/23 Starts

The new Experiential Learning batch for the students of grades eight, nine, and ten has begun from 30th April 2022, which is conducted every Saturday. This 1st 10 session long weekly sessions from 30 May till 25 June, 2022 will be based on the theme of environment and sustainability where students will be introduced to the problems of their environment and encouraged to find sustainable ideas for minimising such problems.

Students were oriented to the theme on the first day through ice breaker, brainstorming, and focus group discussion activities. After the orientation, a movie session was conducted where they watched a movie called Wall-E which tells a story about a solitary robot on a future, uninhabitable Earth, left to clean up garbage. This movie provides environmental messages: reduce, reuse, recycle, and makes us think about what we are doing to Earth. During the session, students will be exposed to the theme through field visits, cleaning campaigns, and guest speaker sessions. Upon completion of this session, we expect the students to be able to identify and explain threats to the environment and find sustainable solutions.

This project is possible thanks to the support of all the members of Amics de Nepal and the collaborating partners:
