PBL Orientation with New Students

Project Based Learning (PBL) is an educational project of Amics del Nepal’s Children Program designed for the students studying in grades six and seven from government schools. The project aims to develop skills, knowledge and values through direct experience and by providing an active learning environment to the children.

On March 19, a short  PBL orientation class was conducted with the newly selected students of grades six and seven. The orientation began with warm-ups and introduction activities. Then, a small art activity was conducted where the children shared their likes, belongings, and important aspects of their lives through the drawings they made. This orientation was conducted to stimulate interaction between the new students and the facilitator and to introduce the students to Amics PBL classes. The PBL classes have been decided to begin from the first week of Baisakh 2079 (April 2022) when the new academic year begins.
