The eight week long Amics del Nepal online PBL Classes (Project Based Learning) had its closing on 14th September; National Children’s Day. 10 children from grades V-VII were the participants of this online PBL classes project based on the theme of child rights. They were introduced and exposed to the rights of the children and problems faced by the children such as child labor, child marriage through learning videos, poem activity, group discussions, and art activities during this 8 week classes.
The children were also provided with the necessary learning mediums and internet services along with mobile devices for the ones in need by Amics del Nepal.
The final presentations were delivered online by the children through a Zoom meeting where they shared their learnings of the past weeks through different forms of arts such as dance, song, creative collages, & poems.
With the ease in lockdown and Kathmandu returning back to normal life, Amics del Nepal has now resumed these classes physically at the Activity Centre in Chabahil, Kathmandu. The online classes had been quite difficult due to a lot of technical problems but now being able to come to the Activity Centre, the children are very happy to engage better in the learning process.
This project is possible thanks to the support of all the members of Amics de Nepal and the collaborating partners:
