Amics del Nepal’s youth attended a drama play at Mandala Theatre in Nepal on 22nd February.
Nepali women and their struggles was the main theme of the drama. The interesting thing about the drama was that it was a participatory drama where the audiences could also change the scripts and act replacing the main artists. This gave audiences a chance to present their ideas on what could possibly be done in those scenarios by women or people in general to prevent violence or harassment like incidents.
Since our youth are also currently preparing drama based on the Women’s Rights theme, it was a great learning and exposure for them as well as for the staff who attended this drama workshop.
