Amics del Nepal Activity Centre has started the Social Week.01 classes physically on 18th January. The classes resumed after 10 months since the pandemic and the initial countrywide lockdown in March, 2020. However, during these 10 months, we also ran online EDP sessions with different groups of Youth and Children Program.
The Social Week.01 session aims at developing the concept of rights and responsibilities, human rights and women’s rights through regular class sessions including drama workshops at Amics del Nepal’s Activity Centre. We also intend to develop the modern life skills (Creativity, Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Caring) using the Amics’ approach of Project Based Learning in all our Social Week projects.
The session is developed marking the International Women’s Day, March 8th and the final event is expected to be done in Bhimphedi Balmandir.
We hope to utilize this Social Week.01 session as a platform to help our students learn, grow and understand better the issues of women’s rights in Nepal.
