PBL Health workshop and summer pack distribution 2024

On June 19th and 20th, summer clothing and hygiene packages were distributed to PBL classes 6 and 7 respectively following a basic health workshop. The workshop aimed to emphasise the importance of basic health care and personal hygiene for the students with twenty participants of Amics Children Program.

The workshop began with a brief introduction to basic health care, stressing the significance of maintaining personal cleanliness and overall health. Topics covered included showering, brushing teeth, bathing, cutting nails, cleaning socks, and changing underwear.

At the conclusion of the workshop, each student received a hygiene pack containing summer clothing, underwear, socks, nail clippers, body lotion, and a raincoat to support their personal hygiene efforts. For the PBL 6 class, this was a first experience as they had not previously participated in such a workshop. The students were delighted to receive these hygiene packages and gained valuable insights into personal health and hygiene.

This project is possible thanks to the support of all the members of Amics del Nepal and the collaborating partners:
