Social Week youth organized workshops in two government schools in Kathmandu focusing on the theme of “Child’s Rights.” The sessions were held at Shram Rastriya School and Shree Bal Bewashaya School, Siphal, specifically targeting grade 6 students.
The interactive workshop, spanning an hour, aimed to educate young children about their rights and establish connections between these rights and various places within their community where they could exercise them. The session involved engaging activities centered around fundamental rights such as the right to food, shelter, clothing, health, education, and security. A total of 103 beneficiaries, comprising students, benefitted from the workshop.
The Youth Program of Amics continues its commitment to collaborate with external stakeholders, conducting school workshops in upcoming Social Week sessions as well.
