Dental check-up was conducted on 11th August for the new batch of Social Week (SW12) youth. A total of 14 youth went for their dental screening at Complete Dental, Boudhanath. After the initial screening, some of them had a lot of built up cavities, and even major dental issues for which they were scheduled for follow-up appointments. All the beneficiaries completed their screening and further treatments on 21 November. Further treatment included filling up cavities, root canal treatment, and even crowning.
Amics conducts dental check-ups every year for the youth in order to promote good oral health among its beneficiaries. Alinging with Amics’ health goal and SDG3 of living a loving, caring and hygienic environment where they receive proper health care.
