Children Program Project Based Learning (PBL)

PBL sports visit

A sports field visit was conducted on May 13 with our Project Based Learning (PBL) students to a place called Dunkmandu. It is a sports facility in Simaltar which is about a 20 minutes tempo ride from Amics Activity Centre in Kathmandu. We were a total of 18 students, along with our children program intern and staff, where our students played football and basketball. The main objective of this field visit was to provide outdoor exposure to the students and also to promote a healthy mind and body. The sports field visit was a refreshing and new experience for all the students as this was their first time going on an outdoor sports visit with their classmates.

Sports activities are a great way to practise collaboration, communication and caring. Amics del Nepal will keep taking our students to different sports centres, historical places, and art exhibitions as field visits in order to develop life skills and provide them with better education and exposure opportunities.

This project is possible thanks to the support of all the members of Amics del Nepal and the collaborating partners:
