Children Program Project Based Learning (PBL)

PBL third quarter closing

PBL6 and PBL7 completed their third quarter on January 6 through a combined closing event. During the third quarter, PBL6 worked on an art collaboration with the art school Tinta i Vi, under the theme of “Christmas and Solidarity”, and PBL7 worked on their English preparation classes. In English preparation classes, the students were introduced to letter writing. In the Christmas and Solidarity session, students learned about solidarity and why it was important.  Also, an external art facilitator was hired during the solidarity session who helped our students create paintings on local food recipes for the art collaboration in Barcelona. Finally, the students presented their works to the audience at the event.

All the students actively participated in the event which was hosted by the students themselves. The PBL6 students presented their paintings and shared their experiences during their session and reflections, and the PBL7 students presented the letter they wrote to their pen pals. Staff, interns, and Bhimphedi youth were the audience for the event. The next and last quarter of the year will be on Women’s Rights for PBL7 and English Preparation for PBL6.

This project is possible thanks to the support of all the members of Amics del Nepal and the collaborating partners:
