Since many of the children of Amics del Nepal do not have access to proper hygiene and clothing along with education, Amics del Nepal’s role in supporting them has been greater than ever. We all agree that one of the basic necessities of children is clothing. Many children in Nepal struggle and suffer as a result of not having sufficient and proper clothes. As winter approaches, it is too cold for children to come to the Activity Centre without proper shoes and clothes. Due to this, some children also fall sick.
Keeping these issues in mind, Amics del Nepal has been providing its children with the necessary clothes and hygiene materials every year as part of the Children Program’s Health and Hygiene Activity. To help them learn and become aware, we also conduct health workshops to complement these distribution activities. With the assistance we receive from donors and supporting organisations, we are hopeful such initiatives taken by the program will only grow.
