Art and Sports Activity at Purwanchal Bal Sewa Ashram, Biratnagar

The Amics Nepal Kathmandu team orchestrated sports and art activities at Purwanchal Bal Sewa Ashram, Biratnagar, on January 19th and 20th, 2024. This endeavor involved 44 children under the care of the Ashram.

During the art session, the children were instructed in doodling techniques using various shapes and colors, fostering creative expression and providing a foundational step toward more formal artistic pursuits.

Simultaneously, on January 20th, sports activities, including football, volleyball, badminton, sack race, and spoon-marble race, were organized for the younger and older residents. The sports activities aimed to enhance physical health, motor skills, and teamwork, instilling discipline, time management, and boosting confidence.

The event was particularly beneficial during the winter vacation, offering the children engaging activities. Moreover, it facilitated direct communication between Amics del Nepal Kathmandu and the Ashram, strengthening their relationship through not only financial support but also active engagement with the children.

This project is possible thanks to the support of all the members of Amics del Nepal and the collaborating partners:
