Last Friday, November the 23rd, was a great day for Amics del Nepal, since the celebration of two events in parallel allowed to raise 1,200€.
– 23rd annual meeting of Amics del Nepal, at the Cercle de Gràcia in Barcelona. About one hundred people approached Nepal through videos presenting the project, a Nepalese dance, the premiere of the documentary Ama Dablam (by Sergi Mingote) and typical Nepalese food. With the donations, the sale of calendars, lottery and T-shirts, 600€ were raised. Thank you very much everyone for coming!
– Representation of the play “L’Avar” at the La Patronal of St. Quirze del Vallès, by the youth group of El Ciervo Teatre de Sabadell and thanks to the organization of the Ateneu del Món. Thanks to this solidarity action, 600€ were raised, which we will put aside to our projects in Nepal. One more year, we are immensely grateful to El Ciervo Teatre and Ateneu del Món for making it possible.
