Social Week (SW) Youth Program

After SEE Course 2025 begins

The After SEE Course began from 24th April at the Activity Center with 20 youth enrolled for the 2025/26 session. Three youths were moved from Amics del Nepal’s Children Program to the Youth Program. While four youth join the course from the 3 different children’s Homes; Bhimphedi Balmandir, Amor Children’s Home, and Purwanchal Bal Sewa Ashram. A new enrollment of 13 youths has been done from two government schools; Siphal and Shram school.

The After SEE Course will be held for 10 weeks five days a week, from Monday to Friday, from 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM, with the theme of “Environment and Sustainability”. Instead of just traditional learning, youths will implement project-based learning where they will get to create, explore, and solve real-world problems. They will develop the 5‘C’s critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, and caring; while gaining valuable life skills. With quizzes, fun English lessons, games, movie screenings, video-making projects, and hands-on science experiments, the learning will be more interactive and engaging. Field trips and guest speakers will bring the theme to life, making it a unique and exciting learning experience not just to the youths but to the facilitators too.

By the end, they’ll not only understand environmental issues better but the youths will also feel empowered to take action and apply what they’ve learned to make a difference in their communities.

This project is possible thanks to the support of all the members of Amics del Nepal and the collaborating partners:
