As the academic year 2081 concludes, the children of Patan Children’s Home have much to be proud of. Attending Asmita English School in Bhainsepati, Lalitpur, 32 children from LKG to Grade 7 completed their final examinations with determination and heart. Guided by the school’s motto, “Education is the key to life,” each child gave their best, turning effort into achievement and challenge into growth.
This year, 19 girls and 13 boys appeared in the exams and received satisfactory results, showing a strong commitment to learning. Exams became more than assessments – they were opportunities to build resilience, focus, and self-belief. The children embraced the process with curiosity and discipline, supported by their caregivers, teachers, and peers every step of the way.
We are proud to share some special recognitions: Salman Nepali (Grade 5) was honored as Best Student of the Year for his academic excellence and discipline, earning a perfect 4.00 GPA and ranking 3rd in his class. Alina Balika (Grade 4) received the Best Assistant Monitor award for her helpfulness and classroom leadership
As we celebrate these achievements, we also welcome new beginnings. With exams behind them, the children are ready to step into the next grade – braver, wiser, and more confident. They carry with them not just academic results but the valuable life lessons of persistence, responsibility, and hope.
To all our children: Congratulations! We are proud of how far you’ve come and excited for where you’re headed. Keep learning, keep growing, and never stop believing in your potential. The journey continues, and the future is bright.
