Each term, the AFA of Joan Blanquer School in Castellar del Vallès organises a solidarity snack to support the cooperation projects of Amics del Nepal. The school has been involved with the NGO since 2015, and some teachers even travelled to Nepal to visit the programmes on the ground.
On Friday, April 4th, the second solidarity snack of the school year was held, this time organised by the families of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students. It was a great success, thanks to the strong involvement of both families and the school.
In the afternoon, Manisha Gurung and Kavita Gurung —director of Amics del Nepal, currently visiting Catalonia for a month to take part in various NGO events— led several activities for the 3rd grade students, who showed great curiosity and eagerness to learn.
