Ateneu del Món, the Sant Quirze Town Council, and Amics del Nepal have been collaborating for over ten years. On Tuesday, April 8th, Sant Quirze del Vallès celebrated the 30th anniversary of Amics del Nepal and a decade of partnership.
Kavita Gurung, Manisha Gurung, Anna Carreras, and Daniel Roig took part in the Som Solidaris radio programme on Ràdio Sant Quirze, hosted by Laura Roger.
Afterwards, the Amics del Nepal team went to the Marcel Ayats Library, where Kavita, translated by Anna Carreras, spoke about the country’s current reality and how Amics del Nepal’s programmes address these challenges with the support of Ateneu del Món and the Sant Quirze Town Council. Around 70 people attended the presentation and took part in the open discussion.
