Social Week (SW) Youth Program

Start of the Final Quarter of the Social Week

The Social Week 11.C session started on January 20th, 2025, with 11th grade students, focusing on “Women’s Rights and Social Entrepreneurship.” The main aim of the session is to help students learn about women’s rights, gender equality, social responsibility, and social entrepreneurship. During the session, students will work closely with organizations that support women’s empowerment.

Students will explore the concepts of women’s rights, equality, social responsibility, and social enterprises through a hands-on approach, using Project-Based Learning (PBL). They’ll also have the opportunity to visit women-led businesses and collaborate with organisations to better understand social entrepreneurship.

By the end of the session, students will have a better understanding of gender inequalities and how to work towards eliminating/standing up against them. The session will wrap up with an event on March 7th at the Amics del Nepal Activity Centre, to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8th.

This project is possible thanks to the support of all the members of Amics de Nepal and the collaborating partners:
