Children Program Project Based Learning (PBL)

PBL7 Guest Speaker Session on Child Rights

Amics del Nepal is committed to conducting regular Project Based Learning (PBL) sessions and enriching the educational experience of its beneficiaries through field visits and guest speaker sessions aligned with the thematic focus of each project.

A guest speaker session was conducted on 20th September, Friday, by Mr. Mohan Dangal, Executive Director of Child Nepal (CN), on the theme of “Child Rights” for PBL7. All the PBL7 students, along with the three staff members, participated in the event. The session is aimed to provide comprehensive understanding of child rights, including critical issues such as child marriage and child labour and also to motivate students to become active advocates for child rights by fostering a deeper awareness of the issues and providing actionable insights into how they can contribute to protecting and promoting child welfare in their own communities.

The guest speaker session was instrumental in broadening the students’ knowledge base and encouraging critical thinking about child rights. Mr. Mohan also did an activity with the students where he fostered knowledge of child rights with a game. Several aspects of child rights were covered during this session, which served as a catalyst for our continued efforts to educate the students about child rights.

The session was concluded with the Q&A, and sincere appreciation was extended to Mr. Mohan Dangal for his insightful contribution and dedication to educating the next generation on these important topics.

This project is possible thanks to the support of all the members of Amics del Nepal and the collaborating partners:
