Children Program Project Based Learning (PBL)

PBL Second Quarter Ends 2024

PBL second quarter final event was held on September 28 and 30, respectively. The quarter was centred on two compelling themes: “Child Rights’’ for PBL 7 and “English Preparation” for PBL 6. Over the quarter, a range of activities were conducted targeting English language proficiency and fostering reading habits to enhance creativity and collaboration among the students for PBL 6, whereas PBL 7 focused on raising awareness about child rights with its related topics. The main objective of this event was to present what the students had learned and provide a platform to present their understandings.

PBL 6 final event was conducted on 28th September with an audience composed of parents, Amics staff, and EL students. Embracing the overall theme “Me and My Neighbour,”  students working in pairs presented their written reflections on different subtopics spanning from self-exploration to family, school, and neighbours. The students demonstrated poise and confidence during their recitation. The event led up with an enchanting dance performance by the PBL6 students, leaving a lasting impact on all attendees, and concluded with a beautiful song “Sing a Song” by Carpenters sung by the PBL 6 students.

PBL 7 final event was held on 30th September. The audience consisted of parents, guardians, and Amics staff. The students commenced the event with a warm welcome and proceeded to share insightful presentations on Child Rights, Child Marriage, Child Labor, and Happy Child. Following the presentations, students astounted the audience with their drama on Child Marriage, shedding light on the harsh realities of this issue. The event was concluded with a melodious song “Aashish” by Bipul Chettri sung by the PBL 7 students.
