On October 24th, the Women Hub (WH) project organised the WH Grantees Announcement program. A total of five women were selected based on their attendance and level of participation in the three-month-long weekly sessions held from July to September 2024. Each of the selected women will receive grants aimed at improving their socio-economic conditions. The grants are intended to provide opportunities through skill-based training, which will be customized according to the women’s individual action plans. This training is designed to enhance employability, increase social capital, and ultimately support the improvement of their socio-economic situations.
Among the five grantees, four are interested in tailoring, and one is keen to learn bakery skills. The women will undergo three to four months of intensive training at selected training centers. Through this grant announcement, the Women Hub project has entered its next phase. With access to dedicated training and resources, the beneficiaries have the opportunity to enhance their economic prospects and gain social confidence, setting them on a path toward livelihood improvement.
