Amics del Nepal has always been dedicated to providing its beneficiaries with opportunities for exploration and knowledge as well as self-improvements through various activities. On 25th May, under Women Literacy Program (WLP) level-2 books were distributed to the women beneficiaries of Kathmandu and the classes began with 14 participants who were eager to learn and discover new segments of their literacy journey.
Participants in this level-2 class learned how to construct simple words, phrases, and phonetics in Nepali. In order to enhance and add excitement to the study, they also studied additional art. Moreover, for the holistic development of the beneficiaries, field visits, summer and winter hygiene distribution, and a few basic health examinations ended the WLP Level-2 session on November 30. The level-3 book will be implemented from January, 2025. In the next session, they will gain more knowledge than they have in the previous session..
Overall, the beneficiaries have found the Level-2 sessions to be highly beneficial. They gained knowledge of basic Nepali language skills and, through mental health workshops, learned about menopause and its effects. Additionally, field visits provided them with external exposure and enhanced their knowledge. Amics del Nepal will continue conducting these classes to support the beneficiaries’ ongoing learning and development.
