On September 9th, Amics del Nepal hosted a dynamic guest lecture featuring representatives from Nitrogrow Agrotech Nepal. Led byAakriti Bharati, and Aarati Gurung, the session focused on sustainable agriculture and innovative approaches to environmental challenges, drawing attention to their pioneering solution, NitroBooster, and the unique use of human hair as an organic fertiliser.
The lecture went beyond traditional presentations, incorporating engaging activities and impactful videos to provide participants with a hands-on understanding of sustainable practices. As a youth-to-youth knowledge-sharing session, it created a stronger sense of responsibility and motivation among the participants, encouraging them to think critically about their role in promoting environmental sustainability. The interactive discussions allowed them to explore real-world applications of sustainable agriculture and better understand how they can contribute to environmental solutions.
The youth participants were inspired to take actionable steps in their communities, motivated by the success stories shared by the Nitrogrow team.The guest lecture had a high impact on youths not only for its informative content but also for its ability to engage and inspire young minds. It stands as a testament to the impact of youth-led innovation in addressing environmental issues and promises to leave a lasting influence on the participants, empowering them to pursue sustainable solutions in their own endeavours.
