Amics del Nepal is committed to conducting regular Project Based Learning (PBL) sessions and enriching the educational experience of its beneficiaries through field visits and guest speaker sessions aligned with the thematic focus of each project.
On the 23rd of June, Mrs. Nima Yangchen Lama was hosted as a guest speaker at our Activity Centre for the PBL students of grade six (PBL6). The session aimed to provide valuable insights into environmental sustainability through the expertise of Mrs. Nima Yangchen Hyolmo, a practitioner in the field of sustainable farming. Practical examples and extensive knowledge was shared to enrich our understanding of environmental challenges and solutions.
Ten students from PBL6, along with three staff members, participated in the session. Mrs. Hyolmo used real-life examples and interactive discussions to enhance critical thinking and communication skills. The guest speaker session was instrumental in broadening the students’ knowledge base and encouraging critical thinking about environmental sustainability.
Sincere appreciation is extended to Mrs. Nima Yangchen Hyolmo for her insightful contribution and dedication to educating the next generation on these important topics.
This project is possible thanks to the support of all the members of Amics del Nepal and the collaborating partners:
