On the 20th of July, a family meeting was held with the parents of Experiential Learning (EL) to discuss their children’s activities related to the project. The main goal of the meeting was to provide parents with a thorough overview of their children’s engagement and progress within the EL project. The session also included a workshop focused on strengthening parent-child relationships, allowing parents to learn new parenting techniques and positively understand their child’s emotions.
Due to busy schedules, only 11 parents attended the meeting. They were introduced to a good parent-child relationship and its significance in understanding and supporting their children. The meeting emphasised various techniques and the importance of strengthening their relationship with the children. The session also encouraged active participation from parents who shared their experiences and engaged in the discussions. As the session went by, the parents shared their thoughts and interactively mentioned about the practices that they have been doing to nurture their bond with the children. The meeting ended with positive feedback from the parents regarding the valuable parenting skills and the engaging learning experiences that were shared and offered.
This project is possible thanks to the support of all the members of Amics del Nepal and the collaborating partners:
