The third quarter of the Social Week commenced on November 5, focusing on the intellectual and personal development of Class XI students. The sessions, meticulously designed to run from Sunday to Friday, are held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. This quarter’s6 theme, “Solidarity and Fundraising,” underscores our commitment to nurturing the 5Cs: Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, Communication, and Caring.
The primary objective of this term is to equip youths with the skills needed for effective event planning, blending the principles of solidarity with practical fundraising strategies. The sessions encourage participants to apply their creativity and critical thinking skills to design meaningful and sustainable projects.
This term’s flagship activity involves the creation of flower incense using used flowers from festivals and temples. This initiative not only promotes sustainability by upcycling discarded materials but also emphasises environmentally friendly practices. The incense sticks will be packaged sustainably, utilizing recycled paper instead of plastic, ensuring the entire project aligns with eco-conscious values.
The third quarter of the Social Week represents a significant milestone in our ongoing mission to cultivate socially responsible and well-rounded individuals. We look forward to seeing the tangible results of this initiative and the lasting impact it will have on our youths’ social and personal growth.
