PBL Classes Start 2024/25

A new Project Based Learning( PBL) batch of the academic year 2024/25 has begun on 23rd April 2024, at the Amics Activity Centre. Designed for lower secondary level students (grades 6 & 7) from our partnering government schools, PBL fosters deeper understanding through active exploration of real-world scenarios and issues. Each class comprises 10 students, including 6 girls and 4 boys. The classes are conducted three days a week per grade through a project based learning and play based approach that captivates students’ interest and enthusiasm.

This first quarter of the academic year 2024/25 for PBL commenced with English and IT assessments to evaluate students’ progress accurately.

Themed around Environment & Sustainability and English Preparation, the primary aim of this quarter is to familiarise PBL6 students with environmental concepts, while for PBL7 students, the focus lies on enhancing the four core English language skills through engaging play based activities.

We also aim to cultivate  fundamental life skills such as critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity, caring, basic IT, and English proficiency, all within an engaging and enjoyable learning environment. Overall, the sessions are run for about two months in each quarter, ensuring comprehensive learning experiences throughout the year.

This project is possible thanks to the support of all the members of Amics del Nepal and the collaborating partners:
