The first day of the Nepali month of Shrawan (around 15th July) Hindu devotees celebrate the festival of Saune Sankranti, a day to worship Lord Shiva.
From this day, during the whole month, women wear green bangles and decorate their palms with beautiful designs of mehendi (henna).
In Balmandir we also celebrated this fun day. All the women, girls and even some boys got their desired design.
