The 10-week long Amics’ Social Week.01 came to a closing on 20th September. During this course, youth were engaged in building a theater play based on children’s rights as the theme for Children’s Day. While undergoing this course, youth were exposed to various opportunities and learning spaces through dance and theater where they could get to understand better about child rights.
After finishing the preparation of theater, a special day-September 14 was marked to create a community event where youth could perform their theater play as it was also Children’s Day. The official closing of the course was done on 20th September by performing the play for the children of PBL Class in the AN Activity Center.
We are proud that our goals for this Social Week.01 has been achieved after observing the youth’s performance during those two events and now that Social Week.01 has finished, we aren’t done yet. We will be opening Social Week.02 from 14th October for those who successfully attended the course as well as enrollment of some new students will also take place.
