Siphal Children Protection Home is one of the branches of Nepal Children Organization (NCO) in Naxal, Kathmandu. Amics del Nepal has been supporting Siphal CPH by conducting food fests one Saturday per month where children are exposed to preparation of food and varieties of dishes.
On 16th Feb 2019, we served chicken and paneer (fresh cottage cheese) momo for 90+ children including the staff. It was a great challenge for the team and also a good exposure for our Amics youth studying Hotel Management. The main goal of the food fest is to engage the children in the cooking activity which is the very basic component that one should learn. We will organize another food fest next month in Siphal Children’s Protection Home with yet another different menu.
