On the occasion of Nationwide Cleanup Event 2018, Amics Youth from grade XI and XII performed a drama play at Patan Durbar Square about WASTE BURNING and LITTERING. The event was organized by Clean up Nepal with the support of various other NGOs and associations. There were also some personalities as the Australian Ambassador who every year supports this event.
Our youth got the opportunity to perform in such an emblematic space where they were exposed to a great audience while they raised awareness about waste littering and burning which is one of the main problems in Nepal.
Since 2016 Amics Youth has given support to Clean Up Nepal to spread their messages to have a cleaner and more healthy environment and avoid contamination through wrong practices. Last year we also got the opportunity to perform in a very emblematic space such as the Bouddhanath Stupa.
